Aberlour- "The Puffy Scotch"

The "Puffy Scotch". Hmm, why in the hell did we call it that? It is an unusual name to be giving to a single malt we understand. However, there is a good reason to be calling it as such. For instance, the night we tasted this one, Seinfeld had just run his "Puffy Shirt" episode, and "puffy" was just on our minds. Second, Aberlour does indeed have a light, almost airy quality to it. It is a lighter tasting and smelling malt, a good summer dram, not too heavy or overwhelming. It just makes sense to call it the "Puffy Scotch"!
